Say WHAT?!!!
Sophie is 18 months. It seems like she's 6 years old. Seriously. In the last 6 months or so she has learned so much and is doing so much more. We had her check up the other day and she is not as big as we thought. :) She is 22 pounds (around the 30th percentile) and 32 in long (around the 55th percentile). She looks tall for her age, but really, who do I have to compare her with around here? :) And she moves non-stop so I'm not too surprised about the weight.
Here is her animal sounds video most of you already saw on facebook.
My brother recently got home from his mission to Scotland/Ireland. This is what he wore his first Sunday back. :) Isn't he a stud?!
This is AJ and Sophie a day or two after AJ got home from his mission. I found them in here reading together. Sophie loves AJ. He is in Utah right now visiting my dad so Sophie walks around saying, "AJ, AJ, AJ, AJ...." a lot. It's really cute.
Sophie's best friend, Emma
And look who went potty in her toilet! She's gone twice big time like this in the last 2 days. And she's tinkled a little a few times also. She's been going diaper-less this week and I have learned that she goes around 11am, so around then I make sure I watch her carefully because she does tell me when she needs to go. :) And we keep this pot of water handy for her to splash her feet in while she sits on the toilet (Grandma's idea). That helps her go. It's a work in progress, but she really is interested. So we'll see how it goes.

Still love the video!! I've seriously watched it a bunch of times. Rylee loves it, too. She makes a lot of animal noises, but she doesn't do it on command like that. We're hoping if we keep showing her the video she'll get the idea.
And...awesome about the potty training! We'll have to try the pot of water thing. We have a small toilet in the bathroom that we put her on every night before her bath, but she never goes. Then as soon as we put her in the tub she pees. I'm going to try the pot of water. I saw this "potty train in 3 days" thing online, but you're supposed to hard core dedicate 3 days to it with your partner in crime (aka spouse). So we have it on the calendar next month to potty train when Jonathan has three days off. lol
btw...Jonathan and I decided the other night that we need to facetime with y'all in the near future so Rylee and Sophie can "meet" each other...again.
And one more thing...are y'all planning any trips to see Travis's family this year? Just curious. :)
I love the video and I love that Sophie and AJ are such great buddies. :)
