Sophie is 9 months old!!! We love, love, LOVE her! Here is what she's been up to.
She is crawling all over the place, climbing everything, and walking along the couch, table, chairs, anything! It is very hard to keep up with her and she's not even walking on her own yet. We have barricades (chairs layed on their side) throughout the downstairs to keep her safe.
She has 4 teeth. Two on the bottom middle. Two on the top, but not the middle ones. The ones next to where the middle ones should be. It is really cute and I will try my hardest to get a picture. All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth....
Sophie no longer likes sleeping through the night. I blame it on the teeth wanting to come through. She wakes up constantly pretty much all night long. It's been fun. :)
Her favorite place to sleep is in bed with Mom and Dad.
Sophie has crawled all the way to the top of the stairs (with me close behind). She loves it and you can tell she has a sense of accomplishment when she reaches the top.
She is eating solids now, but still nursing like crazy. She HATES eating with a spoon, so we've pretty much given that up for now. She can pick little puff snacks and peas up and put them in her mouth. Her favorite food is yogurt. Go-gurts! And she loves apple sauce, bananas, peas, bread, and pretzels.
She loves her grandma and my little cousins most. Any time Emma, Amber, Olivia, or Haley walk in the door she is all smiles and giggles. She will sit in the play room with them and just watch them playing and talking and singing. She joins in as much as she can.
Oh yeah, she loves to talk. She is mimicking us already! I say, "Sophie, say dadadadada." And she does. She also says, "momomomom". And my mom and I both heard her copy us when we said "grandma". We've only heard that one once, though. And she pretty much uses all her other consonants and vowels. Yeah, I think she's a genius. :)
She is now in two piece sleepers. Waaaaah!!!! They didn't have any 12-18 month one piece sleepers anywhere that we could find. So we had to buy her two piece sleepers. I was very sad, but they are cute so it's ok. To me it just means she's growing up.
She loves reading already. :) Her favorite books are, "Mr Brown Can Moo, Can You?", "The Very Busy Spider", "Pouch", and "Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb".
Temper tantrums. Already.
She loves her dad and giggles the most with him. He also plays the hardest with her. Throwing her and running around the house with her. She loves it. :)
She loves her toys, but what she wants most is paper. If you leave a piece of paper anywhere she will find it. And eat it. She's a little goat.
She likes watching puppets on tv. Random.
She likes "driving" my mom's truck. When we're on the farm road we get her out of her car seat and she loves to drive. Just smiling and giggling.
She still hates her car seat. I really don't blame her.
She loves everyone, but she is starting to get a little sad when Mommy's not holding her.
She's pretty much the cutest, sweetest baby in the whole world.
Here are some pictures and videos for your enjoyment.

Love it! Brayden misses her a lot :)
Hopefully you aren't exaggerating on the cuteness, because this is the level of cuteness I'm expecting when I meet her.
Love the videos and pictures! She reminds me so much of Rylee. That getting dressed routine...so familiar. lol And loved Travis's songs. Too funny. :)
From Zoe: Thank you for the bideo. Remember what I said? To only come here when ever I tell you, bemember that? You do, or don't? Say yes, or no. I'm saying it a little bit slow, I think. But Sophie will like this house. But it will be a long time. But she'll still come to my house. But you could help, I forgot. I think I said it on another time, but I don't remember. Love, Zoe.
From Melanie: Cute!!!!! I love Travis' singing and piano playing. I just realized that I need to baby proof the house before you come tomorrow. Uh-oh! We can't wait!!!!!
I think she looks even more like Travis than she did when y'all left! It looks like she is loving all her time getting to know her family. She looks like she loves texas. I don't want to talk about it anymore! Oh and Grady has four teeth, too! There has been some biting when nursing, but I THINK and hope it has passed.
PS The message from Zoe is precious!
