I'm ONE!!!!!!
I can not believe it's been a year since this little girl was born! Sophie has brought so much joy to our lives. One of my favorite things is waking up to Sophie talking in her crib, then putting her in our bed with us to cuddle and play until we get the energy to get up for real. She is so cute. She talks so much now (we pretend we know what she's saying). She walks and runs all over the place. She is so curious and loves discovering new things. It's fun watching her learn something for the first time. She points at things now and talks to us like it's the most important thing in the world.
Her well child check up is next week, so I'll post her stats later. She is definitely getting taller and skinnier now that she's cruising. She is eating more solids, but still prefers nursing and that's just fine with me.
Sophie already loves Christmas! My mom has several nativities around the house and we go around talking about Baby Jesus. She hears lots of Christmas songs as she goes to sleep now (just like when she was born!). And of course, she is fascinated with Santa (she hasn't seen a real one yet, just the ones in snow globes and stuff around the house). She likes to say, "Ho, ho, ho!" But mostly she loves Christmas because she knows she's going to see lots of family soon!
It has been a fun-filled year and we're all excited for the next year (although I'm okay with freezing time...).
Grandma, Sophie, and Emma
She is definitely a sippy cup girl
Look at me cruising!
Let me take all the books out so I can get in. :)
Waiting for a train to pass with Zoe (and Melanie--not pictured)

Happy Birthday Sophie!
Cute pictures! Her hair is looking redder than before. I can't believe how fast time goes and how much they grow!

I love the picture of Travis watching the train!
Happy birthday Sophie! We love you!
What a cutie! She gets prettier every day, if that's even possible! Happy Birthday, Sophie!
