Two weeks of family fun!
Julia Rose Hoverman was born August 2, 2013 at 3:36am. She weighed 8 lbs and was 19 1/2 inches long.
Julia sleeps a lot. :) When she is awake she is very happy and content to just hang out. She makes LOTS of noises--but only when she's sleeping (see video at end) .
Sophie is still getting used to the idea of Mom taking care of someone other than her. Luckily she has lots of people around her who love her and play with her while Mom is busy (Dada, Grandma, AJ, Haley, etc).
Sophie loves helping with Julia. Today while I was changing Julia's diaper, Sophie got out a wipe and started wiping with me. She gives her kisses. She does patty cake with her. She touches her head softly. She is very sweet to her (except sometimes when she's nursing...).
Travis only ended up staying home for a week because we have so much help here. It was a sad day when he went back. I don't know who cried more--me or Sophie. She is a Daddy's girl.

First she fills her ziploc bag with Lucky Charms.
Next she picks out all the marshmallows and eats them.
Finally I pour the leftover "boring" pieces back into the box.
And then we repeat way too many times.
So strong. This one is going to take after me. :)

Sophie and Julia are so stinkin' cute! I love those pics with them both in the leapard outfits. I can't wait to see all of the pics that Jen took! Yay for new babies!
