Nursery

Sophie is the only one in nursery in our branch.  They called two nursery leaders, but Sophie doesn't like being in there by herself with them yet.  So Travis usually sits in there with them the 2nd hour and my mom usually sits in there with them the 3rd hour.  I have Primary both hours and Travis has Elder Quorum responsibilities the 3rd hour.

This is how Sophie fell asleep in nursery on Sunday!

Summer Fun

I'm not great with taking pictures and when we have a stinky camera that works only some of the time, then it's even worse.  But we did document at least a little of what we've been doing this summer.

Here we are at Belton Lake.  Of course Sophie loved it.  She got to swim in the lake and watch Daddy slide down the big water slide a few times (no pictures of that sadly).

 This was at our Branch 4th of July breakfast.  She did get smiling after she got a little food in her tummy. :)

We went to the Waco Zoo (Cameron Park Zoo).  It was "cool" (80's/90's) all week so we thought we would be good this day.  Ugh.  Triple digits.  It was so hot.

We found this baby bunny in the yard (Sonny was chasing it).  We ended up putting it in the kennel with my mom's new baby chicks.  I think Travis is taking it to work to give to a lady who rescues wild animals.
